The collaboration between DOTSOFT S.A. and TIF\u2013HELEXPO concerns Subproject 2: Digitization, Documentation, and Promotion of the Historical and Cultural Assets of HELEXPO\u2013TIF, within the framework of the project \u201cA Journey Through Modern Greek History via the Historical\u2013Cultural Archive of TIF\u2013HELEXPO.\u201d<\/p>\n
The project\u2019s objective is the digitization, documentation, and management of the cultural resources and artifacts of TIF\u2013HELEXPO, as well as their promotion through new technologies.<\/p>\n
As part of the project, 10,000 items were digitized and documented, including photographs, posters, designs, medals, and audio and video files related to festivals and exhibitions since the founding of the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). The project also introduced modern digital tools for cultural presentation through the development of: <\/p>\n
The expected benefits of the project are numerous, including the preservation, sustainable safeguarding, promotion, and dissemination of TIF\u2013HELEXPO\u2019s cultural assets, the modernization and upgrading of services provided to citizens, and the enhancement of accessibility to knowledge.<\/p>\n
DOTSOFT S.A. had the honor of presenting the project during an event held within the framework of this initiative at the 38th International Tourism Exhibition PHILOXENIA 2023.<\/p>\n
The project was funded by the Operational Programme \u201cCompetitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2014\u20132020.\u201d<\/p>\n
