New Partnership Between Dotsoft S.A. and the Municipality of Amorgos! <\/span><\/p>\n A project that will spiritually enrich the Cyclades began on December 22, 2022, with the signing of a contract in Chora, Amorgos, for the \u201cRecording and Digital Presentation of the Municipal Library of Amorgos.\u201d The project was assigned by the Municipality of Amorgos to Dotsoft S.A., a company specializing in integrated web and database applications, which, as part of the project, is digitizing and documenting approximately 15,000 book titles. <\/span><\/p>\n The scope of the project includes: <\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 Recording and documentation of 4,000 books from the Municipal Library of Chora, Amorgos. The library\u2019s archive contains the titles of the books that will be recorded and documented. The documentation process will follow and complement the recording process. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 Digitization of documents and rare books, totaling 15,000 pages, from the Municipal Library of Chora, Amorgos. The goal of this digitization effort is to promote and, consequently, enable the scientific utilization of this material by making it accessible to the public. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 Procurement of equipment (computers) for the management of the material by the library staff and for visitor information, as well as a book scanner to complete the digitization of the remaining library archive.
