The Piraeus Medical Association selected DOTSOFT A.E. for the implementation of the project “Digital Modernization and Upgrade of the Operations of the Piraeus Medical Association (Ι.Σ.Π.) to Address the Health Crisis of COVID-19 and Mitigate its Consequences.” The project is expected to be completed by October 2024.
The purpose of the project is to support and empower the Piraeus Medical Association to address the pandemic and reduce its impacts through the upgrading and optimization of the services it provides and the procedures it follows, making them less bureaucratic and more “accessible” and user-friendly for members, citizens, and other public administration entities.
For this reason, the project includes the identification of specifications and the framework for the upgraded operations of the Piraeus Medical Association (Ι.Σ.Π.), through the development of an Online Service Platform, its development and pilot operation, as well as training and familiarizing the involved parties with selected processes and services for members and citizens.
At the same time, the contract includes the assessment of existing service needs in relation to the transactions with the Piraeus Medical Association, the full administrative and operational integration/harmonization of procedures, and operational interoperability accompanied by unified technological infrastructure and electronic processes.
The project is financed through credits from the Public Investment Program of the project: “Digital Modernization and Upgrade of the Operations of the Piraeus Medical Association (Ι.Σ.Π.) to Address the Health Crisis of COVID-19 and Mitigate its Consequences,” which is included in the Operational Program “Attica.”
